The mission of the Watercolor Artist’s Guild of Trigg, Lyon and Caldwell Counties ( WAG – TLC ) of Kentucky is to provide a nurturing supportive environment for adult watercolor artists by engaging in painting groups and workshops, co-operative purchasing of educational materials and supplies, and promoting art in the community.


WAG – TLC membership is open to all individuals who are interested in watercolor painting and are willing to uphold the purpose of the guild. Members shall complete an application and pay annual dues.

 

The Watercolor Art Guild meets the first Monday of each month at the  John L. Street Library, Cadiz and the third Monday of each month at the George Coon Library, Princeton at 9:30 A.M. - 2 P.M. A brief business meeting is held then members paint, provide each other assistance,  and compare painting techniques. In addition, WAG members help to educate the communities by conducting  "mini" lessons throughout the yea r. The WAG Art Guild is always looking for new members.  Membership for the guild is $30.00 per year. This fee is used towards purchases, advertisement and workshops. The Watercolor Art Guild of Trigg, Lyon and Caldwell counties have recently installed their new officers for 2011-2012. The Guild meets regularly each month to share and inspire local watercolor artists. The new officers are as follows: Jan Farley - President, Estell Bernot - Vice President, Secrertary - Daisy Holt and Treasurer - Jean Martin. WAG-TLC welcomes new members to come join the guild and learn more about watercolor painting.
